Week 3 Power Rankings

The closest finish this week was 7-3, so there were a lot of blowouts, but surprisingly, the power rankings didn't shift too much. Dan and Russ remain at #1 and #2 respectively, and there was only 1 new member of the top 5. Biggest jump this week was Pflanz from 9th to 5th, biggest drop was Bryan from 3rd to 6th.
POWER RANKINGS, MONDAY APRIL 15th

1. Dan (Last week's Rank: 1) - He continues his reign at number one, but the gap is getting smaller and smaller. High save and K totals helped him win this week's MoW, a battle of two terrible offensive outputs.
2. Russ (2) - Back to back 7-3 victories is nice, 10-0 in pitching categories is even better. The league leader in K's is shocking the league with a new found knack for pitching to start the year.
3. Brad (4) - The offensive domination continues as he is 10-0 in the batting categories and ranks in the top 2 in the league in offensive totals.
4. Mark (5) -  A fantastic offensive week helped him to give Richie his first loss. He's 7-3 in offensive categories and leading the league in runs (13 ahead of second place!!!), but has a team ERA of 4.95 and a WHIP of 1.36 (last place in both)
5. Pflanz (9) - He keeps finding ways to win, and has had a very balanced attack to start the 2013 season (6-2 on offense, 7-2 on defense), although Greg didn't provide much competition. Still, is it time to start respecting this team?
6. Bryan (3) - The rookie magic couldn't continue into week 2 as Bryan had a truly bad offensive week. He's still 7-3 in pitching categories, and caught a bad break when Buchholz's 19 K's this week was met by 18 from Dan's Jake Peavy.
7. Richie (6) -  Another Rookie on the wrong side of a blowout, Richie had just 6 homers this week and his team ERA has settled at 4.47 through these first two weeks. However, he's leading the league in steals and batting average, so definitely a silver lining to the loss.
8. Matt (11) - A bounceback performance from an expected playoff team has calmed the panicking fanbase, but his win was a close one, as Kuroda struck out just enough Orioles on Sunday night baseball and Jason Grilli amazingly matched Kimbrel's 4 save week.
9. John (7) -  The championship hangover continues. Aside from Justin Upton, the offense is ice cold, and John is just 1-8 on O, and things only got worse when it was reported that John's Ace Johnny Cueto is going to the DL.
10. Greg (8) - Lost all of the spark from a solid opening week performance. Just 1-8 in pitching categories, and just lost 1st round pick Cespedes to the 15 day DL.
11. Perka (10) - No power (just 15 homers this season), no speed (just 3 steals this season. Three!), and no production at all outside Cabrera, Verlander, and Kimbrel.
12. Andy (12) - Andy found his power stroke this week as Carter, Hamilton, and Phillips helped to win runs, homers, and RBIs, but his team average is a mere .229 on the year. The real weakness is Andy's pitching, where he has yet to win a category this year, and to top it all off he just lost Greinke to the DL, he remains at #12.
